Directions

  • In oven, set on low, place waffles. Warm until heated through and beginning to brown (do not flip).
  • In center of plate, place one waffle, toasted side down In center of waffle, place vanilla ice cream. With toasted side up, shingle second waffle on ice cream.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce in a zig-zag over waffles and ice cream.
  • Evenly sprinkle candied bacon over caramel sauce, waffles and ice cream. In corner of plate, place orange slice and top with the raspberries and whipped cream.
  • Candied Bacon can be closely replicated by cooking "thick-cut sugar-cured" bacon until crisp. While still warm, rough chop the bacon and sprinkle it with granulated sugar, approximately 1 TBL for every 2-3 slices.
